Established in 1980, Hong Kong, China Ice Hockey Association Limited (HKCIHA) is the national sports association for ice hockey in Hong Kong. HKCIHA is a registered full member with International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the associate member of Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.

OVERVIEW

We are pleased to announce the Feeder System Scheme –2025–2026 Junior Ice Hockey Training Program (U13 and U17), organized by HKCIHA. The target participants of this program are beginners and it aims to provide opportunities for people to try and learn more about ice hockey.

DETAILS

Event	Feeder System Scheme - 2025-2026 Junior Ice Hockey Training Programme Venue: DB Ice Rink 25 October, 2025 – 31 March, 2025
Positions	U13 Coach x 2 U13 Assistant coach x 1 U17 Coach x 2 U17 Assistant coach x 1
Hourly Rate	HK$271/ hour for training – Coach HK$163/ hour for training – Assistant coach *Ferry ticket fee to Discovery Bay and return will be provided by reimbursement

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:-

• Provide training programme for Feeder programme U13 and/or U17

• Manage on ice practices.

• Communicate effectively with players, parents and HKCIHA.

• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork and personal development.

• Post Event Player evaluation/assessment.

• Be a role model, exemplifying professionalism, integrity and sportsmanship at all times, both on and off the ice, to serve as a positive role model for the players

• Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by HKCIHA

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently lives in Hong Kong is preferred, holding HKID card with Valid passport with at least 6 months remaining

• Coaching experience with youth teams

• Relevant coaching certifications / qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Passion for developing young athlete both on and off ice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good command of written and spoken English or Chinese

• Attend / manage all scheduled practices / games / off ice sessions / classroom sessions (if any) in Hong Kong is preferred
